Westerton Primary has an active PTA who work very hard to support the school throughout the year by planning events for both children and parents. Valuable funds for the school are raised through:
- Halloween, Valentines & Spring discos
- Christmas Fayre
- Quiz night
- Santa dash
The parents, children and wider community are very generous in their support of PTA events. The PTA has been able to provide funding for:
- New technology learning resources including iPads.
- Our outdoor trim trail
- ICT equipment including the replacement and repair of projectors
- a range of resources to complement school improvement priorities
PTA updates are shared regularly in school newsletters, Twitter and class Whatsapp groups.
Budget Committee Meetings between the school and the PTA Chair sets the agenda for the coming year to ensure funds raised and events are aligned with the school's aims and improvement priorities.
